Comment 35 for bug 89752

Thanks all for finally getting this straightened out. I realize it's not a priority at the moment with the big crunch for hardy upon us, but is there any change for a "backport" (it's the exact same patch) to gutsy, feisty, or etch (all of which it is also broken in, but I believe it works as intended in dapper) ?
