I'm having the same problem in Jaunty - NFS not mounting on boot. It's a wireless connection - the relevant part of /etc/network/interfaces is
auto wlan0 #iface wlan0 inet dhcp
Am I understanding correctly that if I uncomment that line the NFS mount at boot may work properly?
