To answer the first question, the system is considered ship level HW.
On the second question, and to be more clear, the adapter port we are adding with Dynamic add are all real physical Ethernet ports.
The only virtual port is the original Eth0, which is a PowerVM Virtual LAN port. It has the MAC 16:59:c0:50:0a:02 assigned to it.
If that is what is causing the issue, then we will need a solution for the customers, as this works on all the other supported O/S without any issues.
