Hi,

I had an old Athlon XP2000 system and I updated it to an AMD 64 one. I reinstalled Ubuntu 8.10 on my new hardware platform and, miracle, the bug has desappeared !

Hello. My apologies. I have not been sending these bug reports. There error
is occuring but I have not purposefully sent any reports. I have
unsubscribed. To be honest, I am sure I could fix/implement the work around
but I have no time for that. This is not my main system and I dont pay that
much attention to it... Anyway... Sorry again. I am unsubscribed... and
rambling... goodbye

Hi Chris,

Sorry yes the problem was on one PC FutjisuSiemens with intrepid ubuntu
installed with same error. I solve the problem with complete uninstall of
system-tools-backends and dependencies and reinstall the complete package
including the dev package and reinstalling the gnome applet package.

Thanks

Best Regards Mauro
