that's the same problem here. I hope there is somebody around who can help. synce was my main reason to upgrade to natty.

Also confirmed on Oneiric (Ubuntu 11.10) with Gnome. Can't sync my Samsung Saga with Kontact or Evolution as a result.

Obviously confirmed even in Lubuntu 11.10.
I tried with the PPA of opensync 0.22 and forcing some packet version, but you'll enter in a loop of other uninstallable dependecies, result not achieved.
