Comment 3 for bug 56655

with dapper it shows :

"http://proxy.empresa.com:8080/"

and with edgy :

"http://robert:<email address hidden>:8080/"

I usually start synaptic from the System menu, but when I'm at my workplace with a proxy I use the terminal. "sudo synaptic".
