I'm not too convinced by the reasoning that we should take a new upstream release just because it exists. If we thought like that then we wouldn't have a freeze at all. :-)

What's in this release that is particularly important to have in the next Ubuntu release?

And please tell me that you've tested on Quantal (12.10) instead of Precise (12.04)!
