In my version installing lib32nss-mdns didn't help.
When I invoke javaws http://files.gokgs.com/javaBin/cgoban.jnlp I still see the same error:

netx: Launch Error: Could not launch JNLP file. (java.lang.NullPointerException null)

Do you know what could be wrong ?
