Thanks for the feedback. Could you please give me the output of

svn --version

and perhaps the list of packages that you have installed?

COLUMNS=1234 dpkg -l | awk '/^ii / {print $2, $3}'

I'm only really interested in a subset of the ones that subversion uses,
so you may wish to crop that list:

egrep '(subversion|libsvn|libneon|libserf|libapr|openssl)'
