Tried to create new profile, same problem, cannot make field active.
Re-installed Sound Juicer, same problem.
32-bit Ubuntu on AMD64 - Sound Juicer worked fine on same workstation using Dapper 6.06

To re-create, open sound juicer on Feisty.
Edit --> Preferences.
Edit profiles
Choose any profile then click Edit button.
"Editing profile" dialog appears but nothing can be clicked, the "Edit GNOME Audio profiles" dialog is still the active dialog.

Changed in sound-juicer:
status: Unconfirmed → Confirmed

Ditto. Just tried to run sound-juicer first time this afternoon. Dialogs have a focus on the previous dialog. If you close the previous dialog, you can edit the profile, but then the profile is not visible, and you can't select the profile it later on.

I installed the gstreamer lame plugin as requested, but problem remains as indicated above.
