Bug Description

Binary package hint: sound-juicer

sound-juicer 2.16.3, Ubuntu Feisty

1. "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Edit Profiles..."
2. Accidentally bring the Preferences window to the front, such that it completely covers the "Edit GNOME Audio Profiles" window.
3. Try to do anything in the Preferences.

What happens: All the controls look enabled, but none of them respond to clicking.
What should happen: Either the "Edit GNOME Audio Profiles" window is a dialog, in which case it should have OK and Cancel buttons and always appear in front of the Preferences window; or it is not a dialog, in which case the Preferences window should remain usable while the "Edit GNOME Audio Profiles" window is open.

Bug 103420 involves a different window, but the underlying problem *might* be the same.

I got the same problem and I notice that when going in the same menu in rythmbox (which menu's works) and returning to sound juicer, the menu becomes updated and functional. If it can help...
