Bug Description

i just added these ppa

and suddenly i get this error in update manager..

An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

'E:Type 'ain' is not known on line 3 in source list /etc/apt/sources.list.d/tiheum-equinox-precise.list, E:The list of sources could not be read., E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.'

There is nothing at folder '/var/log/dist-upgrade/'...

As you've discovered there was a syntax error in your sources.list file for equinox ppa. This may have been due to a bug in add-apt-repository as it looks like the 'm' in 'main' is missing from that sources.list. I'll move the bug to that pacakge.
