Bug Description
For example, in Software Center's program list, Skype was displayed with an install button even though the partner repository was not enabled. Pressing the install button in this case does nothing.

Confirming this one.... In 11.10, I removed the Cannonical Partners and Independent repositories. Launch Software Center, and search for Skype. I can click install, am asked to authenticate. From this point, there is a small progress bar, which goes from 0 to about 5%, then the Install button comes back. I can keep clicking install, but nothing gets installed, and I'm not prompted to go update my software sources.
