I can't install stand-alone .debs on Ubuntu 10.10 because GDebi is no longer the default handler for .deb files, and Ubuntu Software Center fails to install with the error of:
"Package does not exist
Check the spelling of the package name, and that the appropriate repository is enabled.
Package ubuntuone-indicator isn't available"
I honestly have no idea why is it looking in repositories when this is a .deb file I just downloaded.
