This bug is a bit tricky because the way the addon widget is designed at the moment is that the icon and label widgets are embedded within the checkbutton widget. It seems the checkbutton doesn't accomodate embedded event handling widgets, i.e. a link within the label does not receive events. THis is one problem.

The other consideration, not having looked at the spec in detail atm, is how to configure the pathbar. I presume we would want to display the addons categorisation in the pathbar. Currently this is not so easy and is made more difficult by the current design of availablepane.py.

Given this, I think this will have to be natty+1 :(
