Bug Description

Binary package hint: software-center

When I use the software center in ubuntu 9.10 (offical release) and I want to install ANY application (including software by released canonical) I receive an error.

When I click 'install', the application begins installing. But when it reaches 3% it gives me the error that it is required to have installed untrusted packages.

So, that means I cannot install any app at all via the software center.

Greetz,

Thomas

I changed my repository in synaptic to the main server,

all problems were fixed.

So the problem was the server where I was downloading from I suppose.

I subscribe that changing the repository to the main Server helps.

But for the average user it`s a fix that would not think about it.

The Software-center sucks. Hard to move within , hard to browse...
