Software Center uses Ubuntu One to sync between computers, but U1 is no longer available in Ubuntu 14.04 because Canonical decided to discontinue U1 (http://one.ubuntu.com/shutdown/).

I don't know how they will make the sync work in the future... If anyone has an idea, please let us know
