software-center crashed with UnicodeDecodeError in _call_apport_recoverable_error(): 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 16: ordinal not in range(128)

I have tried to remove plymouth (for reinstalling purposes).

After clicking to remove a error popup of Software-Center itself comes up with the message(translated from german to english):
