Bug Description

I have used Software-Cener to install "krdc". On this and a following search for "remnia" Software-Center popup a error dialog for telling that krdc has missing dependences. The detail view of the error popup gives only back a emty list. Apport catched this crasher following.

Steps to reproduce(not retested):
1.Start Software-Center and search for "krdc"
2.Start the installation of "krdc"
3.Immediatelly after starting the installation process search for "remnia".
4.See the error message that dependences for krdc are not resolvable.
5.Open the detail messagebox of the error popup and see that the list of missing packages is emty.
6.See the crasher

I have hit this again.

It is the krdc installation that causes the crash only.

No further doing is needed than this.

There is a problem with the german mirror servers.

They have not mirrored all Ubuntu13.04 packages for universe, so in consequence when somebody upgrade from there s/he will get a Ubuntu12.10 /Ubuntu13.04 mixed system.

Switching to the main servers fixed this crash.

I close this here as invalid

This happens in plain 12.10 too, without any 13.04 packages, when trying to install pavucontrol.

o.K than this is independend of the mirror server.

It is also not limited to only one package.

I add a tag for quantal.

But it happened when installing from the german mirror server...

And I can no longer reproduce reproduce the problem when I delete and reinstall it.

I have hit this on a fresh raring install that get only packages from the main servers:

I have written there:

"
I have tried to remove plymouth (for reinstalling purposes).

After clicking to remove a error popup of Software-Center itself comes up with the message(translated from german to english):
---------------
"
The following packages have not fullfiled dependences:

libunity-webapps0: Depends: libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.31.8) aber 2.34.3-1ubuntu1 should be installed
                   Depends: libgtk-3-0 (>= 3.0.0) aber 3.6.4-0ubuntu1 should be installed

                   Depends: libwnck-3-0 (>= 2.91.6) aber 3.4.4-0ubuntu2 should be installed

Apport react also on this.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Steps to reproduce:

1.Start Software-Center
2.Search for plymouth
3.Try to remove plymouth
4.See the error described above comes up also with a additional reaction of apport

I have upgraded from 12.10 to 13.04.
Then I tried to install Wine from Software center, and I got same error.

I have updated from 12.04 to 13.04.
I then tried to install "System Load Indicator" from the software center. I then receive the error shown above. In fact I am unable to install any software at all. There seems to be two issues occurring.

1. I do not have the correct user permission to install software
2. The error described above.

I have had issues with sound as well. I had to manually add my username to the audio group, which fixed my sound issue. I am curious if issue # 1 is caused by the same issue.

***SOLVED*** kinda

If I launch the software center from a terminal using sudo I am able to install anything as usual.

I however do not know which group I need to add my username to resole this issue without using the workaround. Someone please advise...
