  I tried today's daily image which contains the snapd snap from the edge channel (but not the .deb package), and while the WantedBy line in the mount units is now updated and lists the default.target, still the problem persists. I'm attaching the syslog.

My impression is that the "OEM Configuration" target is never reached (I don't see any line from systemd about it). Maybe, as Dmitry said in the PR, we should not use default.target but something else (like local-fs).
