Note that this issue doesn't happen with official released image ubuntu-18.04-desktop-amd64.iso.

But does happen with daily build image http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/bionic/daily-live/pending/bionic-desktop-amd64.iso (For example, 20180508)

I think this issue is introduced between 2018-04-24 and 2018-04-30
