I'm not individuality insulting anyone and I'm also not trying to be rude. But come on, 4 years? If the developers are going to drag their feet that long - an outright eternity in software development terms - on such a high profile issue, even after such a strong community response, then in my professional opinion they should not be at all surprised when people find the project mismanaged.
Purging snapd is literally the first thing I do after any new Ubuntu installs. I consider it bloatware and just shy of malware. I wish I didn't have to.
