Also removed snapd. I cannot believe this is still a thing after almost 3 years of this bug being reported. I troubles me very much, that the devs do not seem to take this issue seriously (enough). I hope developers are going to reconsider putting everything in .snap.
I really don't understand why one should put user data in the snap directory. What if I have a project that uses snap AppFoo and AppBar? Then I will find my files in ~/snap/AppFoo/data and ~/snap/AppBar/data instead of together in ~/MyProject?
