The picture might not be completely clear if you haven't been watching, so let me help:

- We have snaps by default in Ubuntu for years now
- There are thousands of snaps published
- There are more than 100 thousand snap installs per day
- There are more than 3 million new snap installs a month
- They are being used in 40+ Linux distributions
- The developers that do snaps also worked on Synaptic, APT, APT-RPM, RPM, etc

Improvements and features are constantly landing, and many more are coming, but this is as production as it gets.
