Bug Description
Under KDE 4.1, the scim-gtk-applet respawns a lot (and there are many instances running at the same time).
In fact, at some point (if you want to start a new process) you get an error that no more windows can be open because of
"maximum clients reached error"

If you have skim (yes, with 'k') installed, please purge it from your system and see if the problem goes away. The reason is that skim was installed by default, but has not been ported to qt4 yet. Therefor it causes problems like this in a qt4 environment client- gtk installed.
