I don't upgrade using the command line, I use synaptic and it doesn't show any 'distribution upgrades availalable' but security (or recommended) patches.
Hence my questions are as follows:
WHY should I use the 'apt' application now?
WHAT is wrong with my previous upgrade?
Have I DONE anything wrong? WHAT?
