We have been here before. /var/samba is no place for putting user data
or Samba shares. I am consulting with Vorlon about the best course of
action, but don't be surprised if I just close this bug, as I have done
in the past.

I agree with the severity change, and I wouldn't blink to make it
permanent and not temporarily.
