Comment 1 for bug 45229

These are not the links the package sets up, and they never have been in the history of Debian or Ubuntu. They ARE, however, the default links used by upstream sources? Have you ever done a self-compile of samba and "make install" on your machine, perchance?

For reference, our links look like this:
