"sudo dpkg-reconfigure samba-common" doesn't work and returns the message "/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: samba-common ist kaputt oder nicht komplett installiert" ("/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: samba-common damaged or not installed completely")
Further I executed "sudo winbindd -SF -d 10" and received the following output:
winbindd version 3.0.28a started.

The only thing I did was uninstalling the samba package on my client because I don't need it anymore. I later realized the winbind fail message on system boot.
