What do you mean by "not recognized"?
I cannot reproduce this bug here. I created a .doc document inside a
share, and was able to access it without problems using Nautilus.
Can you confirm that this bug does *not* happen with the current version
from focal?

Sorry, it should have been "client min protocol = NT1".
