Comment 43 for bug 150068

Hi all,

For some reason I am getting error messagesat the end of the install.If I follow the link in Samo's comment it takes me to a page in which the Overview tab is active. There is a signing key 1024R/DADA3CFS key on this page.

If you click on the Overview Page again a new page is shown (the Overview page is still active) and a PGPKey marked 3B7E16E1 is shown. Now I would presume that it is this key I used although I notice that it is not of the specified format as specified in (Read about Installing) link on the first page.
If I use 3B7E16E1 as it appears logical to use it.

Sudo apt_key adv --keyserver seem so.k.

After running sudo apt-get update, I see a lot of lines marked Hit hhtp://gb.archive.ubuntu.com lines, and then :-

W: Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/sbalneav/ppa/ubuntu/dists/jaunty/Release
Unable to find expected entry Copy/source/sources im Meta-index file(malformed release file ?)

E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Can anyone cast any light ?
