I am seeing the problem also. Running a kernel from the mainline-ppa (I was requested to in bug #521260). Uname -a indicates: 2.6.33-999-generic #201002201003 SMP

dpkg --print-avail says I am running rsyslog_4.2.0-2ubuntu5.1_i386
