Having the same problem here. Running 10.04 32bit.

Apr 11 12:26:46 home rsyslogd: [origin software="rsyslogd" swVersion="4.2.0" x-pid="902" x-info="http://www.rsyslog.com"] rsyslogd was HUPed, type 'lightweight'.
