Same probleme here.

I found a similar bug in debian here: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=404636

It was apperently fixed:
Severity: important;
Found in version rpy/1.0~rc1-2;
Fixed in version rpy/1.0~rc1-4 by Dirk Eddelbuettel <email address hidden>;
