Note: launchpad suggested https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ristretto/+bug/1815486 but it related to an older version packaged for xenial/bionic however it could be same issue

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS QA-test (live using latest daily)

Opening files found on local hdd using install apps; in this case it was a WAV file that started playing & I closed app (ristretto) to move to next file & moments later crash report appeared.

It's likely the crash was on exit; I'd moved my attention to thunar looking for next (different type) file to open using an installed app, so had mentally switched away from ristretto & didn't expect the apport window to appear.
