Yes, OggVorbis is an encoder option. Perhaps it is not the default and I missed it as an option. Thank you for your help.

I did not try with an actual cd, but I could select OggVorbis as the
encoder to be used. Check it out.

And I'm not quite sure what you mean with the information part, could
you elaborate please?
