Confirmed with hardy alpha 5 and rhythmbox 0.11.4. When an ipod is plugged in, rhythmbox opens and adds the ipod's tracks to my library. They stay there until the ipod is ejected, after which the tracks go into the "missing files" section. The same behavior is present with a new user account on this computer. iPod has not been connected to windows. This is the only computer (and OS) to which my ipod has been connected for months.
Probably important to mention is the fact that this behavior only started today after a sudo aptitude upgrade.
