Raph, this is not exactly the same problem (you have a different graphic card, see bug title). BTW, latest restricted-manager now uses xorg.conf directly, so you do not need the dpkg-reconfigure dance any more. If you start 'sudo restricted-manager' from a terminal, are there any messages? Please copy&paste them here.
