I can confirm that this is the issue with rdesktop (all versions usually) in Ubuntu.
My details:
Rdesktop version 1.5.0.
1.5.0-3+cvs200
The session freezes, though its not disconnected from host's side but I have to simply close or kill the rdesktop session from here as soon as it freezes.
And when i try to connect again it creates a new session; just because the other session which I had to kill, is usually seen as active on the host machine. There is no way to configure auto-reconnect or to connect to the same last session besides creating a new one. So, this is really a horrible experience at the time. Please fix it if you are working on it. Thanks.
