quodlibet fails to start due to garbage config file

Bug Description
I've had a number of problems lately with quodlibet and have traced them to the fact that quodlibet periodically writes garbage to the ~/.quodlibet/config file and to other files it uses, for example, the files in the ~/.quodlibet/

Thanks for the report. This should be improved with 2.4 (but not 100% fixed, I guess).
