Thanks for the logs. That explains a lot, and I hope it's not a problem specific to your Intel Pineview hardware...

Mir 0.19.3 worked once, but mostly failed to start (Failed to find platform for current system). The new Mir 0.20.0 seems to be working more consistently for you.

Now that you can get Unity8 on screen, it seems to be just Unity8 issues remaining. I wonder if I can get a 10" Pineview netbook like yours to test on...
