In GNOME Shell (wayland), when window buttons are set to the left side in GNOME Tweaks, the window button order is:

% gsettings list-recursively | grep button-layout
org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences button-layout 'close,minimize,maximize:'

with qgnomeplatform-qt5 installed, QT applications, e.g. KeepassXC and OpenSCAD show the buttons in this order: close, maximize, minimize.
