Comment 11 for bug 37943

I believe this may be due to thread issues with multi-processor/hyperthreaded machines. I have reproduced errors similar to this with both types of machines and then disabled all the cpus except cpu0 (echo 0 >/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online) and the problem appears to go away. Could others try this to see if it helps?
