OK. I'll give it a go, possibly working on it over this coming weekend. Because the affected package is an interpreter (Python), I think the standards for what it takes to get an SRU included are very high (a mistake in a Python package would affect many users of many different Python applications!). But I'll follow the process and see what feedback we get.
