Bug Description
Upstream has released virtualenv 1.9.1
https:/
The most important change here is that installing packages from PyPI will now download them over SSL, which greatly enhances the security environment for virtualenv installed packages.
I have a 1.9.1-0ubuntu1 package prepared and tested locally.
I'll fill this out with additional information asap.
