it works fine using that flag.

For kdeprintfax users, do:
Settings -> Configuer kdeprintfax -> System
Fax System: "other"
Command: "hp-sendfax -pPRINTERNAME -f%number -n %files"

where PRINTERNAME is the name of the CUPS queue associated with your HP printer fax.
