Problem also occurs with Hardy Alpha3 i386 (KDE). I ran into it after I upgraded the world. I did not notice if it occurred with the vanilla install.

Bug also affects System Settings -> Monitor & Display
                         System Settings -> Advanced -> System Services
                         System Settings -> Advanced -> Windows Applications
