Just an FYI to document what Simon and I discussed on IRC. We did an upstream fix (https://github.com/puppetlabs/puppet/pull/5009) which has been merged to use systemd on 16.10. We can then backport that to the Ubuntu package (Simon is planning on this), which will fix Yakkety. We then can properly backport the pile of patches (all documented plus this new one) and SRU.
