You mis-typed the command a few times, but you did do it correctly once, and it didn't return any processes. So much for that theory...
I'm out of ideas, so hopefully, an Ubuntu dev will look at this and know what's wrong. At least you have the logs atttached. Good luck and sorry we couldn't fix it.
