I am having the same problem with my delta 44. I haveto killall pulseaudio to get sound.

Does anyone know how to manual configure pulse audio to get the delta to work on it? I have tried everything on ubuntuforums, I have tried the instruction here, https://tango.0pointer.de/pipermail/pulseaudio-discuss/2008-January/001240.html, but am still having the same problem.

I cannot hook up to the server. Everyting seemed to be working in 8.04.
